Thank you for using Wegbreek.co.za. We are committed to providing accurate accommodation information, smooth booking processes, and fair policies for both guests and accommodation providers.

This Refund and Returns Policy explains how cancellations, changes, and refunds are handled when using our platform.


1. Nature of Our Service

Wegbreek.co.za is an accommodation discovery and booking platform.
We list properties, allow customers to make enquiries and bookings, and forward these bookings to participating accommodation providers (“Hosts”).

Each Host operates independently and may have their own cancellation and refund rules.


2. General Refund Policy

2.1 No Refunds by Wegbreek.co.za

Wegbreek.co.za does not collect any booking funds on behalf of accommodation providers.
All payments are made directly to the Host via the payment method they supply (e.g., Direct Bank Transfer / EFT).

Because of this:

  • Wegbreek.co.za cannot issue refunds,
  • Wegbreek.co.za cannot reverse payments,
  • Refund requests must be handled directly with the Host.

3. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation rules vary between accommodation providers.
Before booking, guests must review the cancellation policy displayed on the listing or in the booking confirmation email.

3.1 If your booking includes a cancellation link

You may cancel using the link provided in your email.
After cancellation, the Host will confirm and process any applicable refund according to their rules.

3.2 If no cancellation link exists

Please contact the Host directly using the details provided on the listing or in your booking email.


4. Refunds from Accommodation Providers (Hosts)

Refunds are managed entirely by the Host.

Hosts may offer one or more of the following:

  • Full refund
  • Partial refund
  • Date change / credit voucher
  • No refund (depending on their policy)

Wegbreek.co.za is not responsible for:

  • Host refund decisions
  • Delays in refund payments
  • Disputes between guests and Hosts

5. No-Show Policy

If a guest does not arrive and has not cancelled in advance:

  • The booking is marked as a No-Show
  • No refunds are normally provided by Hosts (unless their policy states otherwise)

6. Service Fees

If Wegbreek.co.za charges any optional service fees (e.g., featured listings or advertising services):

  • These fees are non-refundable once the service has been delivered.

7. Incorrect or Misleading Listings

If you believe a listing was incorrect or misleading:

  1. Report it to us immediately at support@wegbreek.co.za
  2. We will investigate and may suspend or remove the listing
  3. Refunds still remain the Host’s responsibility

8. Changes to Bookings

Changes to booking dates, number of guests, or accommodation type must be arranged directly with the Host.

Wegbreek.co.za cannot apply changes or modify your booking on your behalf.
